moving my data from one pool to another

Hi there,

I had two 4TB drives making up a pool (plus an SSD with the OS), plus an 8gb drive that HexOS didn't want to add to the pool. I added another 8gb drive to my system, and asked HexOs to expand the pool, it said there weren't any suitable drives to add. So I made a new pool with my two 8gb drives, and now I'm wanting to move all my files and app folders from the small pool to the large pool. Is there an easy way to do this in HexOS, or even in TrueNAS? I'd like to keep my Plex and Immich setups and just move them to the new pool...

I'd appreciate any help or advice the hive mind has.

I assume you mean 8tb drives?

You can probably use smb to copy all your files into the new pool, delete immich and Plex and immich and then reinstall them to the new pool

Can't say if this is most optional method but it is what i would probably do in your situation

Thanks for the reply- Yea- the 8tb drives... 8gb would be a little small 🙂 I was hoping not to delete immich and plex. I'll play around and see if there is a way to preserve the files. If not, your way will get me there.
