jonp Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 You'll notice a new navigation link at the top on the Hub for "Status." We've deployed UptimeRobot to keep track of our online services and the new status page can be found at https://status.hexos.com. 18 5
jonp Posted December 13, 2024 Author Posted December 13, 2024 Lol! Yeah, there will be downtime and outages. It's part of the pains of beta and scaling. But we're 100% going to be open and transparent about everything we do along the way. I will say, we made a number of pretty big improvements to the infrastructure this week, significantly reducing overhead and increasing stability. 10
Maxiboy44 Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Yeah, you getting better fast, definitely have to give you that 😉 1
Mobius Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 this is great addition. Being able to tell others with issues that the servers are currently down with certainty will def help.
AC1Djr Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Would be COOLER if you also put a counter. Purchases and current machines online 6

That would be super cool but would rely on telemetry that a lot of people might not understand or trust. https://telemetry-public.ceph.com (They're at 1.71 EiB across 3500 reporting clusters 🤯) I do agree though, would be very cool! 2
Exosceleton Posted January 13 Posted January 13 You made it a month in the green! Not longer though, its red now. At least it looks more convincing now. 1

Redacted Posted January 13 Posted January 13 May need to add a condition. If API down then deck is down. I know technically the page still loads but its unusable. And if you clear your cookies/cache then its impossible to login

Definitely some room to improve UX here. 4 2
