Migrate existing Plex database from windows to Hex OS

Hi all,

i'm currently running a plex server for about 6 years on a windows 10 box with about 6 drives attached.   I'm planning on moving over to a new box running Hex, however i'm not sure if i'll be able to pull over my existing database, watch history, date added order, etc.   curious if anyone else is in a similar situation and how they're going about getting this done.  

worse case scenario i can start fresh by just moving the data over to Hex, however i'd really prefer to not lose watch history and other stats mentioned above.

I checked Plex and found THIS ARTICLE but I didn't really like the way they worded certain things. But also found THIS GUIDE that looked really promising. Note, I have not used any of these so use your own judgement and good luck!

Ive done this before from a Windows Server to a Linux Server. It's a little convoluted, but it works... mostly.

Its honestly kind of a pain and may not be worth the effort. But if you do do it, Good luck and I hope it works smoothly for you.
