  1. I am a relatively early adopter, and had my version of Immich is stuck below v1.132.0. I know Immich has had a lot of breaking changes, so I was planning on copying all of the data to a new dataset, deleting Immich and re-installing it again, but I'm having so many problems with HexOS that I think I might need to re-install HexOS instead. #1 - Deck doesn't see server To begin with, I did the update to TrueNAS 25.10.1. Now I cannot see my server in deck.hexos.com, I can still access the TrueNAS UI, and all of the shares are accessible from windows. I ran the python script referenced here and then after a while I can see it. But if I restart my server, I have to run this command again which is very annoying. #2 Can't change user's password I created a new dataset for storing my backup data, and wanted to browse it via an SMB share. I created a user in deck (I thought I had done this previously, but there weren't any there). I then tried to change the user;s password by clicking on the user in the deck, and clicking edit. It brought up a dialog that let me enter a new password, but it also wanted a username. If I entered the name of the user, it would complain that that user already exists. If I left it blank, it said it needed a username. So it seems like user management is broken. #3 Folder permissions aren't applying. I was able to make an already existing public folder private. But when I tried to access it via windows, it didn't like the username and password I entered. (so I tried to change it as above, leading to that issue). I then tried to make the folder public again. This didn't seem to work and I still couldn't access the folder. I'm not sure how many of these issue are due to the update, but my install seems really broken. Is there anything to do aside from a full wipe?
  2. To update apps on the Hex deck you currently need to open each app and trigger its update manually. In many cases an app must be started first; otherwise it gets stuck in a perpetual “updating” state on the HexOS deck. After that, updates often still need to be finished manually in TrueNAS UI, which feels more reliable than using the HexOS deck right now. Feature suggestions: 1. Add an “Update All” button that automatically starts any apps that need to be running to update, performs the updates, and then stops any apps that were started solely for the update process. 2. Add scheduled updates with configurable times (for example, “Every Monday at 05:00” or “Daily at 05:00”), including: - Notifications when an update fails. (Already implemented) - An option to disable automatic app updates entirely for users who want to preserve legacy apps. This would streamline updates and reduce manual maintenance steps that need to be done periodically.
  3. I got this error when updating to TrueNAS 25.10.1. Anyone else had this pop up? Haven’t noticed any issues so far but just want to make sure. Google wasn’t helpful 😕
  4. Hey, making sure I'm not dumb. I have an issue when I went to install Plex where it created the folders for everything but never finished downloading the app. Thought it was weird so hit install again and it immediately completed. Checked the notifications and Hexos is reading a completed job from Truenas, however going into the logs it's actually failing due to not having the most recent truenas version. With no way to update from Hexos right now it's caught in a weird communication loop, any idea when and how to keep everything up to date and why it's giving this misread error of complete instead of failed?
  5. Hi All, Received a notification for an available update, though no update function exists within my UI, what are the corrective issues from my end to resolve this issue. Further, found bug regarding failing drive status mismatch between HexOS dashboard and truenas. Drive reported as "predictive failure" by both truenas and smartarray p840, though no such warnings were propagated to HexOS. Thanks!
