Yes this is exactly what I'd hope, since I just spent a few days moving all my data on there and I'd need to spend a good couple days repeating that :p

TrueNAS (Scale) in turn is based on Debian, which *does* support WiFi, so not removing the drivers shouldn't be impossible. The bigger issue I think is support, since there would be more potential sources of errors. Personally I'd like to have WiFi as a fallback option, since troubleshooting my headless server if ethernet ever stops working for some reason will be dreadful ^^;

About a week ago I finally bit the bullet and set up my first NAS, using TrueNAS Scale since I wasn't aware the HexOS beta was so close around the corner. ^^; What are the chances I can move that data over to a HexOS install without needing to somehow run both OSes in parallel? (or upgrade the TrueNAS install to HexOS, but I understand that to be a non-goal) If it is possible, I presume the Apps aren't as well-supported in the current version, so I would presumably not be able to keep the same applications as of right now? (audiobookshelf and nextcloud)
