    What about when they offer local options? I see either you lose the license or you get the possibility of just taking it offline and hosting a local network instance without a license.

    I've seen talk about a minecraft server, but what about other servers that run natively in linux dockers? Terraria has a CLI dedicated server, Minecraft has one, Core Keeper. I've had issues configuring all of these. Would support for one-click game servers be on the roadmap for, say, a 4.0?

    It's likely that many of the people here will have a drive failure, or a catastrophic bug, or something that stops access to the server. Does that mean the license is gone? I can't deactivate it if it stops working, especially if it's a local install.
