i was thinking of either buying a nas and either run mc server on it. or buying a new pc, re-purposing one of the pc's as a server. disadvantages i see i don't know any nas/nas os that can run a java mc server. phenom server - high power consumption, motherboard only supports sata 2 (but for HDDs that might be ok) or pentium server - bearly enough performance for mc server
