Thank you Soooooooooo Much! I have been running my plex for about 2 weeks without GPU encoding. If anyone is having trouble; go to apps, turn off plex service. click on "configuration", its a drop menu. Go to "Settings" and click "install Nvidia drivers". Then run the commands quoted above! Good luck guys!!!!

i figured it out. for some reason it wanted to auto use previous login info. so i guess i shouldnt use the same sever name lol. i just had to click on the "use different credentials" tab.

hey guys, i feel like i should be able to figure this out on my own but im starting to bleed from all the blunt-brick-truama. im spinning my HEXos server back up and wanted to test out some new upgrades for Plex. but i cant access any of the folders/shares. i did a fresh reinstall with new users and folders. i was able to install plex but now that ive uninstalled it, i cant install plex in the apps menu.

Update! I found the solution!

Update. after some more digging i think i found the culprit. for some reason when i try to add a media library plex does not see my 3TB file server. so is this a HexOS issue? a Plex issue? or am i just stupid?

hey guys, sorry for the possible dumb question. but i recently setup HexOS and installed Plex. but i cant figure out how to setup my media folders on my file server and how to point to them in plex. does plex make its own folders that i cant see/access? if anything this is the same issues i had when trying to setup plex on truenas. if anyone can link my to some resources or tell me what im doing wrong that would be awesome. thank you
