Curated apps are still buggy. Havent been able to install neither Immich or Jellyfin. Only twist i have on this newly installed system is that Movies, Music and Shows folder is located on another volume. Jellyfin has been "installing" for 2 hours and Immich installs but says connection refused when Launching the app. When installing it should test whether the service is viable at the end. When Uninstalling, it should truly dislodge everything the app has deployed, so that you may install it again without issues.

Hi! Im running a Minisforum minipc with 1 NVME and 1 SSD . I would like to use both for storage and was wondering if you could boot up on a USB attached SSD? I know USB dongles is not recommended because of write endurance, but would a proper USB case with a SSD work for the long run?

At some point, it would be nice with a native mobile app for setting up things like smb shares, start/stop, looking at stats and etc.

A lot probably have those minipc’s with one or 2 slots for hdd/ssds. While it may not make sense for enterprises to squeeze Truenas on the same ssd as the datastore, it might be reasonable to believe that a home user might want to. 🙂 Is this possible or something that will be available?

Yeah. Heard about the steam debacle. Steam would likely have a hard time in a EU court if challenged by the EU consumer protection agency. But there is so many fights to pick and so little time for them 😉

In the EU you are always allowed to resell a license, regardless of what the EULA states. In this early stage I guess they are focused on getting the OS of the ground and making people happy and then turning back for regulation compliance work at a later stage. 🙂
