I don`t mind spending the time to learn! I am just gauging the state of what is currently possible, I might just buy it and sit on it for a bit , or I can just try and deploy it in another machine. To be honest , what I dont want is to spend a few weeks learning something to realize it wont work for what I want - as in it will not be possible one way or another. I currently have a "working" setup, the biggest pain has been GPU pass through - I am not expecting a 1 solution that will do anything, its more of a Is this just a NAS, or can I use it as virtualization station as well kinda question, if it makes sense - because right now thats what my proxmox is , a virtualized station with multiple OSes and apps running.

So I have a proxmox server up and running. I do have a few VMs and containers, currently 23 instances of various OS (windows,etc) and Docker container. How easy is to setup VMs/Containers? One big thing is I need to do GPU Passthrough - and ideally other hardware passthrough.. Both for PLEX/Jellyfin, and some AI, and windows Hosts. Is this supported, or will I need to go around hoops to get this to work? I have a ZFS pool that I absolutelly need to import as well as is, and ideally have it available to both windows/linux users - any caveats here? Last but not least, I have tailscale get access from outside my home network, is this a supported feature, or do I again need to jump through hoops to get it working? Sorry for the battery of questions, but after wasting a couple of weekends trying to fix a botched updated, I am looking for something a bit more stable/less configuration heavy. Cheers!~
