You mean for people like me, I wanted to put the boot drive on a smaller drive, cant do a clone for the life of me so I thought Ill use the settings backup option then do a fresh install on the smaller drive and use the restore settings option............... BUT no backup, no restore. I'm sure you probably can do it via truenas but apart from simple, safe things I have no idea how I would go about that and really wouldn't want to. So, you also get my vote would be an excellent implementation.
