I'm curious about how many Plex users can comfortably connect to my Plex server, both locally and remotely, with an upload connection speed of only 46 Mbps. The videos are 1080p and are set to direct play with no transcoding. The "Limit remote stream bitrate" is set to 10 Mbps (1080p). Can this be reduced to 8 Mbps (1080p) without losing too much quality? My NAS is an old QNAP TS- 453 Pro - Intel Celeron Quad Core 16gig Ram. Internet connection speed 924/46 Mbps Thanks for any input.
