After posting my last reply I noticed in the description that it only supports PCI-E X4/ X8/ X16 (This SATA 3.0 expansion card is only suitable for motherboard slots via PCI-E . Do not apply to PCI slots). I had it in a PCI-E X1 slot. Once I moved it over to a PCI-E X16 slot and refreshed the Hex OS dashboard it began reading the drives. So in this case it was user error. I think this post will be helpful for anyone else like me who does not read information thoroughly before installing things, lol. I hope this helps anyone else who comes across this same issue. I did not need to install drivers or initialize any drives. Thank goodness....
I have the BEYIMEI PCIe 8 port SATA Card for $48.00 from Amazon and it is detecting my drives in BIOS but not in Hex OS. It came with a small disk but I have no idea how to install the drivers. The drives are brand new. I am not sure if they need to be initialized before using them in Hex OS if that can be done in Hex OS or do the drives even need to be initialized.
Any help would be appreciated.
