Hello, I hope HexOS will provide a feature to restore data over USB. TrueNAS had removed this function and only accepts rsync jobs over the network. While practical for people who have a 10 Gbit network, there is still a lot 1Gbit or even 2.5 Gbit out. I have 20 TB of data and a realistic network throughput of 200 Mbit/sec on a 1Gbit network. A restore would take approx 222 hours.or approx 9 days. I hope HexOS will provide guidoance on how to backup the data in such a way that it can be restored over USB 3.1 (or higher) without issues. Hello, If there is one thing I really miss in TrueNAS that is available in QNAP, it is the QFile app in iOS and Android and a Webfiler. It gives the ability to manage most files and folder on the NAS locally so anly the command pass over the network. There are several solutions to manage files and folders within one dataset but that is not what is needed. I hope HexOS can provide something similar to QNAP and Synology. If it is a limitation of ZFS we will have to learn to life with it. Kind regards. Marcus
