I am not a lawyer nor an expert on HexOS, but to my current knowledge, every project that uses the Linux Kernel has to be open-source. This is because of the GPL-2 license that the kernel is distributed with. Isn't part of the GPL-2 license that anything that uses that code has to be open-source and distributed under the same license? Not sure if I am missing something, but I was just curious.
