Appreciate the reply. I had some old 256GB SATA SSDs not in use so was just thinking of using those like I did with my other TrueNAS. Was just curious if the "cache-like"/write-log ZFS functions L2ARC and SLOG would be exposed in the HexOS UI. I understand it's supposed to be simplified so totally understand the decision not to this early if that is the case. I'm not a crazy big NAS user where any cache makes a huge difference, outside of maybe some repeated backups so it's more for nerdy fun than anything else. I've had to move around some RAM for an Xmas gift so won't be overdoing my RAM beyond 32GB which is already overkill for my purposes. Cheers!

Any way to read up on documentation prior to getting the invite? Would like to get an idea on what I can and can't do (yet) once my invite goes out! Appreciate all the work by the dev teams!

Anyone know if caching is already or will be soon enabled like with TrueNAS? I understand the underlying OS supports, as I run TrueNAS already but hoping for that sweet cache goodness, both read and write (whatever fancy names they call them in TrueNAS.).
