  2. Update: I exported the pool from true nas and i can get it to boot with all 4 drives connect. However it crashed immediately when trying to import. invalid or corrupt cache file contents: invalid or missing cache file cannot import 'HDDs': no such pool available XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX[~]# zpool import pool: HDDs id: 14370529907006270995 state: ONLINE action: The pool can be imported using its name or numeric identifier. config: HDDs ONLINE raidz1-0 ONLINE 6a2f9722-779d-4ad9-a174-66d6856dff9b ONLINE b610e5ec-7716-4689-9f8c-e4d25b40959b ONLINE 5c46ab8b-82b6-436d-bcc6-e85461f55589 ONLINE 0a46c882-dcb8-457e-8733-fd2a13e37e14 ONLINE xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [~]# zpool import -f -c /dev/null HDDs invalid or corrupt cache file contents: invalid or missing cache file cannot import 'HDDs': no such pool available xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx# zpool import -f -c /dev/null 14370529907006270995 invalid or corrupt cache file contents: invalid or missing cache file cannot import '14370529907006270995': no such pool available
  3. The two drives that were part of the 4 drive array are showing as unused drivers.
  4. Also here are the nots i am getting from hexos. Alert from TitanHexNas: Failed to configure docker for Applications: Missing "HDDs/ix-apps/docker, HDDs/ix-apps/app_configs, HDDs/ix-apps/app_mounts, HDDs/ix-apps/truenas_catalog" dataset(s) required for starting docker.
  5. Can get it to boot now as long as one drive that i think was the one that had 1 zfs error but it was online. One drive unfortunately isn't be recognized as being connected. The last two of the four are showing connected. Unfortunately the pool is still offline since i am missing two drives. I still need to trouble shoot with new cords and power yet. I'm going to order four new drives as well hoping i can still save it. What's anyone's recommendations to best recover this pool. I also really need to finish my off site back up. I hope i don't loose anything terrible feeling.
  6. Two days ago i got an email stating that there was an error on one of my spinning drives. Then i noticed the whole server went down. It does not seem to be booting and i cannot reach it on the network. The osd is attached below but i can't really make sense of what it is telling me. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
  7. you can just add them as a users. I am not sure how many permission options they have. The license is for the hardware machine to run HEXos. So if you want a second machine or an offsite backup it would need a second purchased license.
  8. Currently i have a windows pc running as my server. As you can imagine its not great. However it lets me to a few things. I understand how to install and run apps on it and how to access it remotely. I also currently have a lot of data stored on it as it is my NAS. Question 1. Do i need to install new blank drives to create a storage pool and then i can transfer the data from my windows driver? Then i can wipe those drives and add them to the storage pool? Will Hex os see those windows drives and allow me to copy the data to the new drive pool? This is my biggest concern. Questions 2. I currently use this machine a my Blue iris NVR for my cameras. It seems it possible to run BI on a windows VM on true nas so it seems i will be able to do that with hex os as well accessing the Truenas settings. If i do that it seems i may be CPU bottlenecked. The cpu is an i3 7100 so its not particularly powerful. So i am worried about performance of have the nas run and 9 cameras 8 of which that are recorded 24/7 albeit at lower res. And then i use BI AI software for video detection as well. I do have an i7 7700k and an extra gtx 1080 gpu that i could use for this machine just means getting a proper case for it. But i feel like the Power efficiency will be significantly lower. My main pc is a 7800x3d and rtx3080 that i could use as BI server, but also worried about power efficiency have that on 24/7 as well as the HE os machine.
  9. Blue iris for camera storage and recording.
  10. didn't see that as i was having trouble finding a search before posting the topic. That also has been resolved, but also was difficult to find.

    Search?

Is there a search option for the forums? I am unable to find.
  13. IMO feature not a bug cause light mode is bad for your health. In any case the button does not work.
