I honestly did most of my config through Truenas as all my apps are not yet available as one click installs through HexOS and i still do not regret my purchase. I like the projects potential and although i was capable of figuring out the issues i had i know there are many who would have just given up and i know I'm only going to continue going further towards that side as i get older.

Hi all, Had a thought while i wait for my links. How will HexOS handle a TrueNAS setup app like say Emby when the HexOS setup for that app comes out? Will it be seamless and HexOS will already recognise that it's installed or will we have to nuke the TrueNAS side and reconfigure it on HexOS side? I am fine with either but would like to know for the future as I am going to be rolling out TrueNAS setup apps right away as i don;t use Plex and none of my other media management software is one click setup yet

It's pricey but i have a highpoint RAID card and enclosure that used to house my old hardware RAID that i have set up each drive as a JBOD to pass through to HexOS. Holds up to 8 drives and powers them in its own external unit

Couldn't agree more. Besides waiting for my link in queue for HexOS i can't actually fully deploy HexOS until Emby and the Arr suite come over to HexOS so that i can replace my existing server build which is unstable and needs to be redone
