Hi there,
I finally jumped on the NAS bandwagon after using Dropbox as my backup and general cloud storage service for many years. Later on, I'm planning on setting up two more similar systems together with my parents and in-laws to have proper off-site backups etc.
I wasn't able to install HexOS on my Beelink ME Mini's internal eMMC, which I would ultimately like to do. So I ended up installing the OS on the other one of my 2Tb NVMe SSD (Samsung 990 EVO Plus). When I'm on the landing screen of HexOS, the system only seems to recognize one 2Tb drive in the whole system. Both of the disks were there when I ran the OS installation. Is this because I use one of the SSDs as the disk for the OS? Is there something I can do about this? I'd really like to use the eMMC as the location for the OS, but if that's not possible, I can obviously use another SSD, but then I'd like to use the rest of the space on that disk for NAS storage.
Is there a way to use the local eMMC as the drive for HexOS?
How can I get the other SSD to show up in HexOS, and how can I use the leftover space on that disk as NAS storage?
The disks used at the moment:
Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2Tb (doesn't seem to be listed on the "SSD Compatibility list" on the Beelink ME Mini product page https://www.bee-link.com/products/beelink-me-mini-n150?variant=47521280098546, but the OS seems to be running fine)
Crucial P3 Plus 2Tb (included in the original ME Mini order)
*/The system used:
Beelink ME Mini
Thank you for the help! I'm quite green when it comes to code-tinkering, so there might be something obvious I've overlooked along the way.
I suppose this might not be the last time I'm asking for some newbie-related help here!
