I understand that HexOS sits on top of TrueNAS, which is built on debian. My current NAS is a debian system that has a few pools of storage. My media files are in a mergerfs pool w/ 8 drives each XFS format. Those 8 drives have SnapRAID run w/ 2 parities on them. The system allows me to have mixed drives and allows bit rot watch and recovery. I have another zfs pool that is used for important files (photos, docs, etc) Is this something that HexOS would be able to match?
Thanks,
