Rats! I was hoping HexOS would match Synology’s SHR with Btrfs flexibility. I want/need to mix drive sizes and fully utilize new capacity for future upgrades. It’s unfortunate (for me) that ZFS limits usable space to the smallest drive. Thank you for replying @Magnus.

Apologies if the above wasn't clear. Couldn't figure out how to edit. I was asking if HexOS could do the same as Synology's SHA-1 w/BFTRS, specifically be able to add diff sized drives in the future and use 100% of the capacity. Wanting to future proof a solution and save a buck.

I've been contemplating buying Synology specifically for SHA-1 + BTRFS to accomplish the 3 bullets below. I was hoping HexOS would support something similar: Ability to add different size drives in the future Use 100% of the new drive - e.x.: have 2x10tb & 2x18tb then buy & add a 20tb, using 100% of all the drives.
