answering to myself, after too much fiddling, what it looks like worked was restarting truenas (I had unclaimed it first, but idk if that was a needed step or not to solve my issue). now I'm in progress of updating, I hope that nothing breaks :fingers-cross:

I'm also having issues, the login one that you mention got resolved by cleaning the caché. Then I actually got to see the dashboard, but it was saying that my truenas version was incompatible, but not option to update (I was waiting in version 24.10.0.0 of truenas to actually test the update process through hexos) but now I have another issue, I'm stuck in "This server is not available", but I can login just fine directly to truenas.
