Fair enough, that's a great reason! 🙂 I generally have everything installed on my desktop and most of my game swapping happens on my Ally. That on top of the strong chance of my wife or son having the game on their PC(s) and/or steam deck(s) shelters me from the chance of it not being installed locally at all.

Just curious, is there a real use case for a steam chache server now that steam natively allows this functionality to any devices on the network?
