  1. No stress. I really appreciate the help. I just didn't want to have to reinstall and have to do a backup of all my data given the cost of storage at the moment and my lack of proper 3-2-1 data storage as a result. It would be really cool if I could download a config file for an app as a backup and if HexOS had a single and easy data protection setup wizard using any of the data protection methods available (TrueCloud Backup, Cloud Sync, Periodic Snapshot, Rsync), with instructions that advanced users should use the truenas data protection dashboard for further options.
  2. Damn, launching a major update on the 26th of December is a bold move. I would have launched it in the first week of Jan as people using HexOS and celebrating Christmas would have been travelling (such as myself) and may have unknowingly reset their app settings after the update. I do have a remote connection via Tailscale so it wouldn't be a huge issue but it could have been a ton of work for me and anyone else to re-setup apps, like Immich to enable offsite backups, especially if those people didn't have a laptop or desktop to make the process easier and faster. I'm going to hold off on upgrading the apps until I get back and I'm going to backup all my data and settings before doing so as I don't want to lose access to my existing data and have to reinitialise the sync process. Still, I appreciate the drive to get HexOS features deployed within the calendar year and HexOS continues to improve significantly and return value for money, especially for early adopters.
  3. Hi. Thanks for the reply. I opened the apps tab in the HexOS dashboard and left it open for a while and the apps populated. Thanks for the help.
  4. Hi all I've upgraded to HexOS v0.8.251106 and my dashboard shows no installed apps and I can only install the apps from scratch. If I go to the Truenas dashboard [25.10.1 - Goldeye] , all of my currently installed apps [immich, home assistant, audiobookshelf, tailscale, etc] are there, including the data and settings. I can still back up my iPhone images to Immich and Tailscale shows the system as active on the network and I'm able to connect to the Truenas dashboard using the Tailscale assigned UP address, with my RAID array of Samsung 2tb 870 QVO drives. I'm not entirely sure what's going on and I've tried to restart the system 3 times now and I'd like not to lose any data. I can post screenshots if required, just ask, and run any commands if anyone wants me to report back certain information on the system. Specs, if required: AMD 5700G, B550i strix, 32gigs DDR4-3200 CL17 Corsair RAM, RM750i PSU. Thanks in advance
