Ok, so just for testing purposes I didn't do anything and just installed all old HDD into the new machine and the network card does not want to turn on. It's not a hardware problem as it turns on in Windows 10 no problem. The network card is an Intel X520-DA2 in case that's the problem.

Ok, so I use ZFS, clone the boot drive and then transfer the data from my old pool to the new pool? But I only have 1 liscence, the last time I created a server un HexOs a disc wipe was mandatory, is that still a thing?

I have right now a server with a backup of my mobiles photos and also working as a NAS with other important files. I'd like to change basically all the hardware, but keep all the storage and configuration the same, how can I do it? The pieces of the old server won't be used in the new, so both can be turned on at the same time. I can instal windows myself and that's the extent of my skills.
