While I agree that supporting email is tedious and that HexOS is built to be as simple as possible, I mainly just don't like that currently HexOS is sending pool data from the system out to their servers. Ignoring that currently the only way to access the system is through their domain.
I would at least like a way to disable the email alerts and a simple redirect to the Truenas GUI would be fine to setup custom email.
Also for this I'm using a amazon VPS / you can also host it in linode/akamai with https://mailinabox.email/
