  1. Just checking in as I am for sure on the lower end of knowledge on all of this. Is HexOS close to being able to do a pool import? I am still on Core and if HexOS will have handy features to make my move to scale, retain metadata for Plex that would be fantastic
  2. Once pool import is ready for HexOS I might need some help. I only get into the system when I need to...which is not often and I feel like I have to re-teach myself again. This is the reason I am a supporter of hex for sure. I know just enough to be dangerous to myself with nas
  3. My biggest worry is my Plex library and everything I've done already. I don't want to lose anything or metadata
  4. I am on TrueNas Core and not Scale at the moment with my ixSystem TrueNas Mini. Seeing the road map for Scale migration...I assume this means I need to get on Scale before I can do that migration or will there still be a way for me to migrate Core?
  5. Any update on this? Looking forward to diving into HexOS
  6. Music to my ears! I will eagerly wait until that is possible before installing on my ix system truenas mini
  7. I hope so because I have spent a ton of time curating all of these pools so I will wait to move to HexOS until that is possible. I thought about hot swapping the drives with older drives, install HexOS, then once it is running swap the drives with my data back into the system. I do worry the metadata from plex would be totally lost though which is a real pain.
  8. I have had a TrueNas Mini from IX Systems for quite a long time. I only really dive into the UI on TrueNas a few times a year, and it is always an adventure as I have to re-teach myself some things. I have tons of media, TimeMachine backups, and files, and from what I know, all of the data on these drives would be wiped if I installed HexOS on my TrueNas Mini. I wanted to clarify if this was the case and if there was an easy way to install HexOS onto the system. I assume there might be when 1.0 is released. Looking forward to the future of HexOS!
  9. I've had a TrueNas Mini from ix systems for awhile now and would love to move everything to HexOS for the ease of use with the apps, shares, and Time machine backup I use for my family's computers. I know it might still be too early to make the leap but any advice would be much appreciated!
