Hi All,
Im a big Fan of re-usability of a old hardware of any kind and a newbie.
its easy to install any kind OS on x86/64 based systems (like traditional intel/AMD CPU or raspberry pi, plenty of information on internet)
but when it comes to a phones, there is not manny attempts to use phones as servers (im not talking about server on top of Android operating system or install Ubuntu touch where you can still use phone as a 'phone')
Has any one tried to utilize phone hardware to be used as a server, No GUI, just SSH into it(at most i maybe would like to use camera of this phone)
My concerns is that GUI would use phone's cpu resources and drain the battery/or use more electricity(im planing to disconnect battery entirely at some point)
Im looking for light weight OS.(i have not attempted to install Proxmox or this new HexOS on a phone yet)
at the moment im testing Droidian OS.
my hardware is: Samsung Note 9, Redmi Note 11, Poco F1.
please let me know if any one has attempted to do this setup.
